Scrambled eggs zoanthids
Care Summary
Community submission by Phu Huynh
Scrambled Eggs Zoanthids are a descriptively named morph — the yellow and white coloration genuinely resembles the namesake and reads brightly on the rockwork under any lighting configuration, which makes them a useful accent coral for darker tank zones. Bottom placement with medium light and moderate flow; they're beginner-adaptable and tolerant of a range of conditions, but color expression is best with consistent medium PAR rather than either extreme. Growth is moderate which is ideal for a beginner morph — fast enough to spread into a colony within a year but slow enough that you're not constantly managing them from overrunning the aquascape. Feed weekly with a fine coral food or Reef-Roids broadcast into the water column; Scrambled Eggs doesn't need aggressive target feeding to thrive, just consistency, which is what most beginner corals genuinely reward.
