Rock Flower Anemones are compact, colorful, and one of the best anemones for reef tanks that can't support hosting species. They stay put on rock or sand, rarely wander, and tolerate a wide range of flow and lighting compared to other anemones, making them compatible with most mixed reefs. The key challenge is placement, they need moderate light and flow and should be kept away from sweeping LPS corals that can sting them into relocation. Feed small meaty foods like mysis or chopped shrimp every one to two weeks to keep coloration vivid and the animal well-conditioned.
