Care Summary
The Yellow Clown Goby is a tiny, bright yellow fish that perches on Acropora and Stylophora corals; it is nano-reef friendly, completely reef-safe, and one of the most low-maintenance fish you can keep. At under an inch it can live in a 10-gallon and will not bother anything in the tank; the main concern is that it may lay eggs on coral tissue and defend the nest, which can stress nearby corals. Feed baby brine and tiny frozen mysis directly near its perch spot; it does not travel to find food and will be invisible in broadcast feeding scenarios. Keep it with very small, peaceful tankmates; despite being reef-safe and harmless, it can be stressed by larger, active fish that frequently displace it from its perch.
