Condylactis Anemones are hardy, affordable, and one of the best entry-level anemones for hobbyists building toward a more complex reef. They thrive in a wide range of lighting and flow conditions, but they wander freely and will sting corals on contact, so plan tank layout with generous buffer zones. Not all clownfish will host a Condylactis, as it is not a natural host anemone, so don't set that expectation with customers unless the fish is already hosting one. Feed meaty foods like mysis or chopped seafood twice a week to maintain health and color, and it will reward you with reliable, long-term survival.
