The Giant Feather Duster is a show-stopping tube worm with a wide, feathery crown that extends into the water column to filter feed on fine particulates. It is peaceful, fully reef-safe, and works in almost any established tank with stable flow, making it compatible with corals, fish, and most invertebrates without concern. The challenge is crown shedding, these worms will drop their plume and regrow it when stressed, a natural response that alarms hobbyists but is not a death sentence if the cause of stress is removed. Dose phytoplankton or fine reef rotifers a few times a week to supplement natural filtration and encourage full, dense crown extension.
