The Hawaiian Feather Duster is a tube-dwelling polychaete with a tightly clustered, dense crown, slightly more compact than the Giant Feather Duster but equally impressive under flow. It is peaceful, reef-safe, and works in any established tank with steady, moderate flow that carries food to the crown without collapsing the plume. Like all feather dusters, crown dropping under stress is the most common concern, triggered by harassment, sudden changes, or poor water quality, so acclimate slowly and keep conditions stable. Dose phytoplankton or rotifers several times a week to supplement the animal's filter feeding and encourage full, regular crown extension throughout the day.
