Blue Sympodium

Metallic blue-green encrusting polyps that shimmer under reef lighting. Very hardy, but it spreads fast and will creep over whatever it touches — give it its own rock island so it cannot overrun slower corals. Photo: Jean-Paul Boerekamps, CC0, via Wikimedia Commons.
