Cladiella australis is a compact, branching soft coral that stays tidy and minds its neighbors — a rare trait in the soft coral world. Mid-tank under moderate light and medium flow suits it well; it doesn't demand much but rewards stable conditions with full polyp extension. The one thing that trips people up is water quality — this coral is more sensitive to dissolved organics than it looks, and high nutrient tanks cause it to retract indefinitely. Skip target feeding and focus on clean water; consistent parameters do more for Cladiella than any food dose will.
