Care Summary
A large-polyp stony coral (Euphyllia) with long purple tentacles ending in glowing yellow-green tips. It does best with stable alkalinity and calcium, moderate light, and moderate indirect flow that lets the tentacles sway without tearing. Feed small meaty foods or LPS pellets once or twice a week for best growth and color. Give it room — many LPS extend sweeper tentacles at night. Light: Moderate (about 100–200 PAR). Flow: Moderate, indirect. Placement: Middle rockwork. Space: About 6 inches from neighbors.
