Care Summary
The Four-Lined Wrasse is the sensible alternative to the Six Line for hobbyists who want the pest-hunting utility without quite as much attitude. It still has opinions about small tankmates and should be the only Pseudocheilinus in the system, but it is noticeably less likely to terrorize flasher wrasses and dartfish than its six-striped cousin. It actively patrols rockwork hunting flatworms, bristleworms, and small amphipods, which gives it genuine value beyond just looking good. Keep it singly and it will claim territory in a way that actually benefits the system by keeping pest populations managed.
