Kenya Tree Coral

Capnella imbricata, the Kenya Tree, is the coral you hand to someone who keeps killing things — it survives neglect that would wipe out most other species. Low to moderate light in the mid-tank with medium indirect flow is ideal; it tolerates lower light better than almost any soft coral you'll find. The downside of its toughness is its reproductive strategy — it drops branches constantly, and those frags root wherever they land, so stay on top of pruning. No feeding required; just export nutrients consistently and it'll keep growing whether you pay attention to it or not.
