Care Summary
The Radiant Wrasse is a bright yellow and orange reef-safe wrasse that is more commonly available than its coloration suggests; it is hardy and adaptable compared to many fairy wrasse relatives. House it in 55+ gallons with a secure lid; it is an active swimmer and a jumper, particularly during acclimation in the first few days before it establishes its sleeping spot in the sand. It sleeps buried in the sand at night; maintain a sand bed of at least 2 inches or it will be chronically stressed from being unable to exhibit this critical natural behavior. Feed frozen mysis and meaty foods twice daily; it eats readily and competes well at feeding time, making it one of the easier wrasses to keep well-fed in community systems.
