The Keyhole Limpet is a hardy little grazer named for the distinctive hole at the top of its shell, and it's one of the best natural algae controllers you can add to a smaller reef. It thrives in tanks with plenty of live rock and does well alongside most peaceful fish and invertebrates, making it a solid community tank addition. The main thing to watch is that it needs a consistent supply of microalgae and biofilm on the rock, so avoid over-skimming or overexposing it to copper-based medications. No target feeding is needed as long as your rock has good algae growth, but if the tank runs lean, supplement with small pieces of nori attached to the rock.
