Aculeus Acropora

Acropora aculeus is a plating to bottlebrush-form Acropora with distinctive needle-like radial corallites giving branches a spiky appearance. It is found on reef slopes and faces and requires consistently high flow and lighting. Its unusual texture distinguishes it from more common branching Acropora.
