Bubble Coral

Plerogyra sinuosa inflates grape-like vesicles during the day to maximize light capture and retracts them at night to expose sweeper tentacles. It can sting nearby corals with its long nocturnal sweepers, so adequate spacing is important. It is moderately sensitive to poor water quality.
