Gurple Yuma mushroom
Ricordea yuma

Gurple Yuma Mushroom sits in that blue-purple-grey color space that the reef hobby calls gurple — it's a subdued but genuinely beautiful Ricordea morph that develops bubble-like surface vesicles and holds color well under medium lighting. Bottom placement with medium light and low flow; Ricordea yuma is a low-energy coral that prefers calm water and will shrink and look miserable in strong current. Yumas are slower to acclimate than Florida Ricordea and will wander if unhappy with their placement — use a small rock rubble prison or a plug slot to keep them positioned while they attach. No target feeding required, but weekly spot feeding with a tiny amount of Reef-Roids or similar will plump the vesicles noticeably and accelerate the occasional slow division; keep it simple and stable.
