Care Summary
Hyacinth Table Coral throws out a flat, spoke-wheel table that can span two feet or more in a mature tank — it's a showpiece coral that structures the entire upper zone of your aquascape. Give it a high, open position at the top of the tank with intense lighting and turbulent, multi-directional flow; shadowing the underside is how tables die young. The number one killer is tip bleaching from light shock during acclimation — dim your fixture down when you first introduce it and ramp up over three to four weeks. Tables are suspension feeders, so run your pumps during feeding windows and supplement with Reef-Roids or similar fine particulate a couple of times a week.
