Nasuta Acropora

Nasuta Acropora grows in a characteristic upright, branching form with distinctive axial corallites that flare out from tight radials — it's a reliable, faster-growing SPS that adds structural height to the top zone of any reef. Full-intensity light at the top of the tank with strong, multi-directional flow; nasuta is a reef crest species that expects wave surge conditions, not stagnant corners. The problem most people hit is allelopathy — nasuta can be competitive through chemical signaling and doesn't always play nicely when other SPS are crowded in close; give it breathing room in your layout. Maintain consistent nutrients in the low-but-not-zero range, target feed weekly with Reef-Roids, and frag it regularly — it's a good producer and fragging keeps the colony from shadowing neighbors.
