Orange Yuma Ricordea Mushroom

Ricordea yuma

Also known as: Orange Yuma, Orange Ricordea Yuma, Yuma mushroom

SoftIntermediate

Care Summary

Orange Ricordea yuma, the Indo-Pacific Ricordea corallimorph (mushroom), covered in rounded orange bubble-like tentacles. A little more sensitive than Ricordea florida: keep water stable and acclimate light gradually over 1–2 weeks. Low to moderate light (about 80–150 PAR), low, gentle flow that keeps detritus off without blowing it around, and lower to middle rockwork. Too much light or flow can make it detach and wander. Peaceful; about 2 inches from neighbors. Photosynthetic; optional small meaty foods 1–2× weekly. Slow growth; splits into new heads over time.
