PC Superman

PC Superman is an Acropora strain from Pro Corals, recorded here as the PC line, and a tier-three named strain built around a bold two-tone contrast. Its signature colours are a blue body with red polyps, a pairing that gives the colony a striking, high-contrast look when the polyps are extended. It is the kind of colour combination that stands out against the greens and purples that dominate many SPS collections.

Care

This advanced Acropora belongs in a mature SPS system with high light and high, strong random flow. Alkalinity stability is essential, along with steady calcium and magnesium and consistent nutrient control. Keep conditions settled and avoid chasing rapid changes; stable parameters support both the blue body colour and healthy polyp extension. Regular testing and measured dosing corrections will serve it better than frequent adjustments.

Placement and growth

Give it a top placement in bright light and turbulent, varied flow, with enough surrounding space for a moderate-growing colony to branch without immediate competition. Growth is moderate for an Acropora strain of this type, so it should settle and build form more readily than the slowest torts, provided conditions stay stable. It is peaceful, so the main placement concern is avoiding shade from taller or faster-growing neighbours as the colony develops.
