RRC Pink Cadillac

RRC Pink Cadillac is an Acropora strain from Reef Raft Canada, styled like its namesake: a smooth pink body with blue-purple tips for a finish. The pink is soft but saturated, and the cool-toned tips give each branch a polished, two-tone look that is easy to recognise. It is one of the better-known RRC releases and a favourite among keepers building a collection around pink and pastel acros.

Care

This is an advanced Acropora for a mature SPS system. It requires high light and strong, random flow, with alkalinity stability as the first priority — keep alkalinity, calcium and magnesium consistent, test regularly, and adjust in small steps. Nutrients should stay low but present. Pastel pinks wash out quickly under instability, so the steadier the system, the better this strain looks. Introduce new frags to intense light gradually.

Placement and growth

Mount it at the top of the rockwork in the brightest, most turbulent zone. Growth is moderate once established and encrusting. Although peaceful, it needs open space to branch and should be kept clear of aggressive neighbours and away from shade cast by taller corals. Pink colour deepening and blue-purple tips on new growth confirm it is settled.
