Vivid Confetti

Vivid Confetti is a tier-one Acropora strain from Vivid Aquariums and one of the most celebrated multicolour strains in this set. Its signature colours are a hot pink body with purple, blue and green accents, a confetti-like spread of colour across the colony. No single tone defines it; the appeal is the way the hot pink base and the scattered accent colours appear together on a healthy, well-lit piece.

Care

This advanced coral belongs in a mature SPS system with high light and high, strong random flow. Alkalinity stability is essential, with calcium and magnesium held steady and nutrients kept consistent, because multicolour Acropora colour is closely tied to stable conditions. Keep lighting consistent once it is coloured well, and make any changes in intensity gradually. A settled routine, regular testing and clean, stable water give the full range of signature colours the best chance to show.

Placement and growth

Place it at the top of the rockwork in the strongest suitable light and turbulent flow, with open space for a moderate-growing colony to branch. Growth is moderate after establishment, so plan for a developed colony rather than frag proportions. It is peaceful, so placement work is about light access and preventing shade from faster neighbours. Choose a permanent showcase position high in the aquascape and leave it undisturbed to colour and grow.
