Vivid Rainbow Delight

Vivid Rainbow Delight is a tier-three Acropora strain from Vivid Aquariums with a rainbow, tenuis-type presentation. Its signature colours are a rainbow spread across the colony, so the strain is defined by multi-colour variety rather than a single dominant tone. That rainbow character, in the growth style described in its seed record, makes it a natural companion piece to the other multicolour Vivid strains.

Care

This advanced coral needs a mature SPS system with high light and high, strong random flow. Build care around alkalinity stability, with calcium and magnesium held steady and nutrients and lighting kept consistent. Multi-colour strains show their range best under stable conditions maintained over months, not under frequent tweaking. Regular testing, even dosing and gradual acclimation to strong light are the practical route to healthy tissue and full colour expression.

Placement and growth

Place it at the top of the rockwork in direct light and strong, varied flow, with clear space for a moderate-growing colony to develop. Growth is moderate after a settling period, so allow room beyond the frag's initial size and protect it from shade as neighbours expand. It is peaceful, so aggression is not a factor in spacing. A permanent, open position high in the aquascape, chosen for both light and viewing angle, suits this rainbow strain best.
