Yellow Tip Black Torch is a high-contrast Euphyllia morph where matte black tentacles terminate in vivid yellow tips — the coloration is dramatic in a way that photographs are almost unfair to in person. Mid-tank placement with higher-than-typical torch lighting at high intensity and medium indirect flow; the black pigmentation needs stronger light to maintain than standard green or gold torches. Aggression is real — deploy it away from non-Euphyllia neighbors and be deliberate about which Euphyllia you house it near; not all torch varieties are compatible with each other, and sweeper sting damage compounds silently over weeks. Target feed meaty foods twice a week and watch for signs of brown jelly disease, which torches are susceptible to when stressed — high-light specimens get stressed more easily during acclimation, so ramp up the intensity over two weeks.
