Clark's Clownfish is the most adaptable clownfish in the hobby; it will host more anemone species than any other clownfish and is significantly hardier than designer morphs. House it in 30+ gallons; it is boisterous and can be aggressive toward its own kind and other clownfish species, so keep a single specimen or a bonded pair. Feed frozen mysis, brine, and quality pellets daily; it eats everything and is one of the easiest marine fish to condition and fatten up for breeding. The natural color variation in Clark's is wide, from all-black to bright orange with multiple white stripes; captive-bred specimens are widely available and recommended over wild-caught.
