Care Summary

The Pink Skunk Clownfish is one of the most gentle and peaceful clownfish species; it is much less aggressive than Maroon or Tomato clownfish and works well in community tanks. House it in 20+ gallons; it does best in pairs and readily hosts Heteractis magnifica and Macrodactyla doreensis anemones, though captive-bred specimens will also accept hammer corals. Feed frozen mysis, brine, and quality pellets daily; like all clownfish it is an unfussy omnivore that thrives on variety and is easy to establish on prepared foods. The slender white stripe on its back rather than the side is distinctive; captive-bred specimens are widely available and are the obvious choice over wild-caught for hardiness and ethics.
