Care Summary

Hula Skirt Algae produces long, ribbon-like or strap-like fronds that flow gracefully with current, giving it a distinctive, ornamental appearance. It prefers moderate to high flow and moderate to high lighting. A good display macroalgae with a relatively slow to moderate growth rate. Generally non-invasive and does not carry the sexual-reproduction risk of Caulerpa species. Best mounted on live rock where flow can animate its fronds. Rarely eaten by herbivores.
