Feather Caulerpa (Caulerpa taxifolia) is a fast-growing macroalgae best suited for refugiums. It can become invasive in the display tank and is banned in some regions — check local regulations. Thrives under moderate to high lighting. Sexual reproduction (going "sexual") causes the plant to release spores and die back suddenly, turning pale — remove the entire plant at first sign to prevent a tank crash. Harvest regularly to prevent this.
