ORA Green Birdsnest is the aquacultured gold standard for Seriatopora — this strain has been tank-raised for generations, making it hardier than wild-collected specimens and one of the most beginner-accessible fast-growing SPS available. Mid-tank placement with medium-high light and strong flow; the ORA strain handles a wider light range than wild hystrix but still needs consistent turbulence to keep the branch matrix clean. Don't let the beginner rating make you careless — Seriatopora still crashes from RTN if nutrients spike or flow drops, it just crashes slower than wild-collected specimens; keep your tank parameters consistent. Feed fine zooplankton twice a week and frag regularly — ORA Birdsnest is a fast producer that rewards sharing and gives you a safety net colony elsewhere in the system.
