The Exquisite Fairy Wrasse is one of the most colorful reef-safe wrasses available; males display intense red, green, and blue coloration that intensifies during courtship displays. Keep a single male with one to three females in 55+ gallons; males will fight, but a mixed harem lives peacefully and the male's display behavior is constant and impressive. Secure the lid tightly; fairy wrasses jump, and the Exquisite in particular is an active swimmer that will find any gap in screen or cover during its first nights in a new tank. Feed frozen mysis and enriched brine twice daily; males use high energy to fuel their constant displays and need consistent nutrition to maintain peak coloration.
