Care Summary
The Orangespine is one of the most underrated tangs in the hobby, mostly because people mistake it for a plain grey fish without doing their research. Get it under proper blue spectrum lighting and those orange peduncle spines practically glow against the body. Feed it multiple times a day with sheets of nori and it will develop into one of the fattest, most robust fish in your system. It is a grazer by nature so a tank with good algae growth and regular seaweed feeding is the key to keeping it vibrant.
