This fish reaches over 3 feet in the wild, and even a 300-gallon is a stretch for an adult. Juveniles look like manageable unicornfishes but they grow relentlessly, and most hobbyists who try them eventually have to rehome them to public institutions. The prominent forehead horn that develops with age is remarkable, but enjoying that in your living room means committing to a system that most people simply do not have. If you want a unicornfish that stays practical for home systems, look at the Bluespine or Blonde Naso instead.
