The Sleek Unicornfish is a pelagic species that spends its life patrolling open ocean, and no home system is really built to accommodate that. In the wild it hovers in massive aggregations picking zooplankton out of the current, so it needs target feeding in captivity rather than relying on passive grazing. Most specimens offered in the trade are wild-caught large adults that have spent years swimming enormous territories, which makes acclimation to even a large home tank genuinely difficult.
