Neon Green Montipora Spongodes

Neon Green Montipora Spongodes is the bright selection of Montipora spongodes carried at Reef To Go: a highlighter neon green-yellow base with dark brown-to-black polyps, grown from the farm's mother colony. Spongodes is one of the hardier montiporas — it plates, pillars and encrusts as it grows, tolerates a wider range of conditions than most SPS, and grows fast once settled. Give it high light and medium, random flow on middle-to-top rockwork, with about 3 inches of room to spread. The photo on this page is Reef To Go's own colony under blue reef lighting; the green reads brightest under blue-heavy light.
