Care Summary

Sea Grapes (Botryocladia skottsbergii or Caulerpa lentillifera) — if the Botryocladia species, this is a striking red macroalgae with grape-like clusters, valued as a display species. If Caulerpa lentillifera, it is the edible green sea grape popular in Asian cuisine and an effective nutrient exporter. Both grow moderately under moderate lighting. The Caulerpa type carries the standard risk of going sexual; the Botryocladia type does not. Tolerant of a range of conditions, generally non-invasive.
