Care Summary
Sinularia flexibilis lives up to its name with long, flexible branches that sway dramatically in flow — in a large tank it looks like an underwater tree in a current. Mid-tank under moderate light with steady medium flow; the flexible branches need enough current to keep them moving but not so much that they're constantly blown to one side. Allelopathy is the issue you need to manage — it releases terpenes that can knock back nearby stony corals and even other softies, so activated carbon is non-negotiable in a mixed reef. No feeding required; just manage its chemical footprint and prune it before it shades out lower corals as it develops its canopy.
