Care Summary
The Barnacle Blenny is a micro-predator that lives inside empty barnacle and worm tubes; give it a tank with rubble and small tube-like structures to occupy or it will remain permanently hidden. A 10-gallon nano is actually a good fit for this species; it does not roam and spends most of its time peeking from a tube and making short dashes for food. Feed small frozen foods like baby brine and copepods near its home tube; it will not travel far to eat, so broadcast feeding in a large tank often means it starves. It is peaceful, reef-safe, and completely harmless to corals and invertebrates, making it one of the best micro-blenny options for a nano reef.
