Care Summary
The Green Clown Goby is a tiny, reef-safe fish that perches on Acropora and Stylophora colonies; it blends beautifully against green and brown corals and rarely leaves its favorite perch. At under an inch it can live in a 10-gallon nano and will not compete with anything for food or territory; it is one of the most stress-free fish you can add to a small reef. It may spawn on coral tissue, and the parents will defend the nest aggressively, which can stress nearby corals; this is the main risk in a coral-heavy system. Feed baby brine and tiny frozen mysis directly near its perch; it does not hunt actively and will be outcompeted in broadcast feeding scenarios.
