Care Summary
The Eibli Angel is a lesser-known Centropyge with striking vertical orange striping that does well in reef tanks when kept fed and in systems 55 gallons or larger. It is generally less aggressive and less prone to coral nipping than some of its Centropyge relatives; many reefers keep it in mixed reefs with LPS and softies without issue. Feed mysis, enriched brine, and algae-based foods twice daily; like all pygmy angels the key to keeping it off corals is consistent, varied feeding that meets its nutritional needs. It can be shy initially and may hide for the first week; establish it in the tank before adding more assertive fish and it will gradually become a bold, visible presence.
